The Rank Organisation has announced annual pre-tax profits of £276.6m. Film and television’s input rose 62% from £22m to £35.7m. This increase was attributed to improved profitability in film processing.Admissions to Odeon cinemas rose by 10%, largely because of Jurassic Park. Rank were unable to increase admission prices because of strong competition.
