CBS Outdoor partners with Digital UK to promote switchover

CBS Outdoor has partnered with Digital UK, the agency overseeing the digital TV switchover, to mark the 100-day countdown to switchover in the North West.

Two double-decker buses have been wrapped by CBS Outdoor to tour around Liverpool and Manchester along busy commuter routes as part of a campaign to raise awareness of the switchover, which starts in the Granada TV region on November 4.

Digital UK has also taken an XL domination on each bus, giving them exclusive presence on all of the interior advertising panels of the buses.

The creative is designed to look like a street scene with the pink ‘get set for digital’ van, featuring robot character Digital Al, driving around to draw attention to key dates for the switchover. Inside the buses, commuters are targeted with advice about the changes.

As part of the region-wide campaign, Digital UK has also booked tram interiors and rail 48-sheets with CBS Outdoor. The campaign, booked by Mediacom and Kinetic, runs until the completion of the Granada switchover on December 2.
