Geoff Unwin, chairman of United Business Media, is to leave the business information company at the end of 2007.
Unwin has been chairman of United Business Media since November 2002, having been first appointed to the board in 1996.
Unwin said: “UBM has a clear strategy and a first rate management team who are executing this strategy well. At the end of this year I will have served on the board for eleven years and chaired it for five, therefore I feel it is time, and an appropriate time, to move on. I am making my intentions known well in advance to allow the board to run an orderly succession process.”
