GCap Media’s Classic FM has signed a deal with eMusic to provide paid-for music downloads on its newly relaunched website.
Visitors to classicfm.com will be able to download tracks on a variety of subscription models, giving them access to thousands of tracks.
The partnership, which goes live tomorrow, will be promoted across all of Classic FM’s media platforms including radio, TV, the Classic FM magazine and classicfm.com. In addition, regular bulletins will be issued to Classic FM’s database of listeners.
The first on-air promotion of the partnership will offer 50 free downloads in the first month for new subscribers.
Last month Classic FM announced the biggest change to its schedule in its 14 year history, bringing in several new programmes and presenters for its Autumn schedule (see Classic FM Announces Biggest Change To Schedule Yet).
