Classic FM Website Achieves Record Figures

Classic FM Logo Classic FM has achieved record figures for its website following its relaunch two months ago.

In October, more than a quarter of a million unique users visited the site making a total of 2,495,362 page impressions, easily beating the figures the site achieved before its relaunch.

The record numbers for the site follow its relaunch in September, which brought a host of new features to the station’s online offering.

In addition to a new music download service, a learning zone, a live stream of Classic FM TV and interactive games, the site also offers a free premium service for registered users.

As well as receiving a monthly newsletter, subscribers have access to exclusive news, competitions and interviews when they log in, plus an audio stream for listening online.

Darren Henley, Classic FM station manager, said: “The all new classicfm.com has been an instant hit with our listeners while also offering advertisers new ways of interacting with our audience.”

Q3 RAJAR figures show the station to have boosted its weekly reach year on year, as well as its share of listening, up 0.10%. Classic FM is now listened to by 5.9 million people.
