Clear Channel Outdoor Launches Summer Solutions

Clear Channel Logo Clear Channel Outdoor UK’s planning department has developed five tailor-made summer solutions to enable advertisers and agencies to deliver bespoke marketing messages out-of-home during the summer season.

The Summer Health and Beauty Pack, the Summer Drinking Pack, the Summer Festival Pack, the Summer Leisure Attractions and Seaside Pack and the Summer London Tourist Pack deliver cross-format solutions based on proximity and geo-demographic targeting.

Chris McLelland, Clear Channel Outdoor UK Group Head, said: “The scale and diversity of the Clear Channel Outdoor portfolio allows advertisers to reach key audiences at multiple touchpoints. The fun-seeking consumers travelling to this summer’s biggest festivals such as Glastonbury, Reading, Leeds, V Festival and T in the Park, for example, are typically young pre-family adults with a high disposable income.

“Our Summer Festival Pack can reach this audience through targeted 6-sheets and 48-sheet panels within the towns where the festivals are being held, on key arterial routes and in proximity to rail stations at different journey stages.”

As part of its Summer Solutions promotion, Clear Channel Outdoor has launched a What does summer mean to you? photography competition. Now open for entry, the competition will be judged fortnightly until Friday 31 August 2007.

Each winner will receive a luxury hamper for five to take their team to the park and enjoy, what is forecast to be, one of the hottest summers on record.
