Media Audits (071 734 4080) has developed a PC software package aimed at making TV planning easier. The CODA package looks at an allocation of spots broken down into time or channel segments. The system then trawls through the BARB panel to find individuals who match the target audiences’ characteristics. CODA then simulates individual’s viewing of spots and accumulates viewing across the whole panel. Specific input options allow the user to have individual or any combination of TV regions, a choice of time periods to predict coverage from, and any BARB defined target audience on a schedule selected via a number of spots, TVR or expenditure.
