The Economist UK edition outperformed Private Eye in the second half of 2017, with a 2.4% increase period-on-period in circulation, and 8% year-on-year.

Private Eye‘s circulation decreased in the second half of 2017 by -1.3% PoP and -1.4% YoY, however its circulation still stands at a solid 246,600.

The Pressdram Ltd title was closely followed by Dennis Publishing’s The Week, which recorded a 0.3% PoP increase in H2 but was down -1.8% YoY. The Week Junior also performed well, reaching a circulation figure just over 48,000.

Meanwhile, Monocle reported healthy figures, up 3.4% PoP and 5% YoY, to more than 84,000.

However, it was Prospect that really stood out in the July to December 2017 period, with circulation up an impressive 36.6% PoP and 37.5% YoY.

New Statesman, only reporting yearly figures, was up nearly 3% YoY.
