Cost Cuts At MGN Cause Resignations

Cost cuts being initiated by Mirror Group chief, David Montgomery, have resulted in the resignation of a number of journalists and other staff at the newspaper headquarters. 36 employees have left or been sacked since Montgomery’s appointment but in his favour the share price has risen from 49p last summer to a high of 106p this month.
