Ebuzzing launch new ‘Double V’ shoppable video format

Ebuzzing, the global video advertising company, has released ‘Double V’ – a new advertising and e-commerce platform that enables consumers to buy products immediately after watching an online video ad.

Double V aims to give brands – that are only charged when the entire ad is viewed – the opportunity to deliver a full HD video to consumers followed directly by the opportunity to open a brand website to the product inside the video space.

As a result, it is hoped the new format will drive higher engagement rates and make the purchase journey quicker and easier for consumers.

“Shoppable video is a great new advertising medium and its benefits are backed up by hard stats,” said said Rebecca Mahony, Ebuzzing’s chief marketing officer.

“Recent research by Google found that 40% of shoppers visited a store in person or online as a direct result of watching a video, while 34% of apparel shoppers said they were more likely to make a purchase after viewing an online video,”

“At Ebuzzing we passionately believe online video is the most impactful form of advertising and the Double V video format that makes online stores accessible straight from video ads feels like the next exciting step in the rapid evolution of the sector.”
