Emap Restructure Could Face Seminar Spotlight

Emap, owner of Heat and Magic FM, has in the past few days been surrounded by rumours concerning an imminent restructure, with many at the company fearing job cuts.

Emap is holding meetings with its staff over the coming days to discuss matters which arose from its operational review, announced in November, which examined the consumer magazine division and Emap advertising.

With excellent timing then, Paul Keenan, chief executive of Emap Consumer Media, will be attending tomorrow’s MediaTel Group seminar on the Future of Magazines and will no doubt be quizzed on the current state of affairs at the company, with NewsLine reporting first and fastest on all of the breaking news.
