The Evening Standard saw its circulation dip by 1% from March to April, a real term decline of almost 3,000 copies.
Its circulation now stands at just under 282,000.
Freesheet thelondonpaper remained relatively static in April, with a circulation of almost 501,000 copies.
Rival title London Lite was up by around 6,500 copies on March, taking its total to more than 402,000 copies.
Morning free paper Metro posted an increase of almost 1% on the previous month, moving its circulation up to 747,000 copies.
In the midst of the credit crunch, business freesheet City AM was up by almost 3% on March, with a total circulation of almost 100,000 copies.
