Event: Media Playground 2014, 21 May

With just two weeks to go, Media Playground is once again shaping up to be one of MediaTel’s calendar highlights, with delegates from across the industry congregating for a packed day of lively debate and innovation.

Taking place on Wednesday 21 May, the seventh annual Media Playground will be divided into a number of sessions focusing on current insights, ideas and challenges facing the digital media industry, as well as inviting delegates to get interactive in between. (Giant Scalextric, anyone?)

Topical highlights include understanding what the consumer is doing across devices; the impact of Chromecast, Amazon Fire and Google TV to established platforms; the rise of digital out-of-home; and what an effective connected consumer campaign looks like.

Torin Douglas will also be conducting his next interview live at the event.

For just £199, delegates will have access to all sessions, as well as a networking exhibition area hosting the latest technologies and systems.

Panellists so far include Nigel Walley (Decipher), Paul Scanlon (MobiTV), Jana Eisenstein (Videology), Callux McGinley (vlogger), Jon Cornwell (Newsflare), Rachel Gibbs-McNeil (Carat), Dan Hagen (Carat), Torin Douglas (media commentator), Simon Andrews (Addictive!), Dominic Mills (MediaTel columnist), Adam Freeman (Mutual Media), Colin Strong (GfK), Caroline Morris (Sky IQ) and Steve Edwards (MGOMD), with more to be confirmed.

The event will begin at 9am at RBS Bishopsgate and finish at 4.45pm, with a drinks reception to follow. For more information on the day’s agenda and how to book, please visit our events site or contact our events team.
