Ex TNS CEO Joins MediaTel as Chairman

MediaTel Limited is pleased to announce the appointment of Mike Kirkham – the former CEO of FTSE 250 company TNS – as its non-executive chairman, with immediate effect.

Mike has spent over 35 years in the research business, and was CEO of TNS from 2001 until his retirement in mid 2006, by which time the company had offices in 70 countries, employing 13,500 people worldwide.

During his tenure, TNS became a major supplier of consumer panel, media intelligence and TV and radio audience measurement services.

Kirkham was voted Research Magazine‘s CEO of the Year in 2005.

“It’s very exciting for us that we have been able to attract someone of Mike’s experience to join our board as chairman,” said Derek Jones, managing director at MediaTel.
