Free Media Question Time Event To Dissect Tumultuous 2007

Mqt Logo As we hurtle at a frightening pace towards December, it’s easy to forget just how eventful a year 2007 has been for the media.

Digital has surged ahead, with internet ad revenues climbing and internet-led devices multiplying with great voracity; TV has been immersed in controversy; radio steadily gathered pace in the background; outdoor stood firm and paper circulations diminished to make way for online incarnations.

Controversy and innovation have been key this year, and each medium has faced its own battles and triumphs.

So it seems fitting that MediaTel Group once again hosts its annual Media Question Time Event in central London, the seventh of its kind, where delegates can get a chance to put their probing media questions to a fantastic panel of experts.

Chaired by the BBC’s media correspondent, Torin Douglas, also confirmed for the FREE event are Richard Eyre, chairman of GCap Media plc and of the IAB; Emily Bell, director of digital content at Guardian Media Group; Mark Howe, country director, UK Sales, at Google; and Mark Cranmer, CEO of Research International.

MQT will be held on the evening of Tuesday 27 November 2007 at RIBA, 66 Portland Place, London, W1.

There will be a drinks reception between 6pm and 7pm, with questions from 7pm to 8.30pm, followed by a further reception until 10pm.

To be sent an invitation, email mqt@mediatelgroup.co.uk with your name, company and address.
