Five Logo Five’s Controller of features and entertainment, Ben Frow, is to leave the broadcaster.

During his three years at Five, Frow created and launched some of the channel’s most popular series with shows such as The Hotel Inspector; Diet Doctors; How To Be A Property Developer and Build A New Life In The Country.

Five’s managing director, content, Lisa Opie, said: “Ben has made an invaluable contribution to Five in revamping our features output and has also been responsible for some of our most iconic images with series such as The Farm and Cosmetic Surgery Live.

“As you’d expect with an executive as talented as Ben his services are much in demand and I’m sure we’ll be hearing about him in an exciting new role very soon.”

Frow was appointed as Five’s controller of features and entertainment in November 2003 joining from Channel 4 where he was head of features and factual entertainment.

He joined Channel 4 in 1998 as editor leisure/deputy commissioning editor features from BBC Television where he was an executive producer working on a range of leisure, archive and format series.

At Channel 4 he was made head of features in 2000 before becoming the channel’s head of features, daytime and factual entertainment in 2002.
