Good News For Direct Marketing

According to a survey conducted by Mercury owned telemarketing group, Adlink, things look fairly optimistic for the advertising industry in 1993.

The survey involved marketing directors of large advertisers, who revealed that they are planning to increase their advertising spend in ’93, but the main benefits will be seen by the direct marketing sector.

Direct mail is predicted to go up in as many as 44% of the companies surveyed, with telemarketing being increased by 29%. The downside of the survey has shown that above-the-line ad budgets will be prone to cuts more than below- the line. 0 Ad Reports Idx 9 Main
