Google has launched a new search feature called Google Instant, which enables search results to appear while the user is still typing.

Some UK and US Google users have already had the ability to test the new search feature over the last few days, but today’s launch means it is available to all Google users.

Google Instant offers instant suggestions and search results that change as users continue to type in their queries.

Other announcements expected to be announced are more search results per page, and changes to the indexing system.

Google’s logo preempted the launch of  Google Instant earlier this week, with the logo featured in grey lettering which gained colour as queries were typed.

This follows recent news about the imminent launch of Google TV.
