According to new research from MyVoucherCodes.co.uk, the Google logo is viewed once every nine minutes in the UK.
Of those who said Google was the most prominent, 47% said it was because Google was their homepage, or the first page they went to once online.
52% of respondents said that they used Google between 10 and 20 times per day, and the majority said they saw the logo more than 50 times a day.
Other high-scoring logos included Microsoft, which is the second most viewed logo at 15%.
This was followed by Facebook with 11%, and Apple at 9%.
Coco-Cola was the fifth most viewed logo, with 8% of respondents seeing it the most during the day. It was the only brand in the top 10 that was not media or technology related.
Mark Pearson, chairman of MyVoucherCodes.co.uk, said he was “not surprised” that Google was the most recognised logo, as it had become “such an institution” in the UK.
