Grazia appoints new editor

Natasha Pearlman has been appointed editor of Bauer’s fashion and lifestyle glossy Grazia.

Taking over from launch editor Jane Bruton, who leaves the company on 20 March, Pearlman brings with her experience from the Daily Mail, News of the World, the Sun’s Fabulous magazine and ELLE, where she was deputy editor. She will report to the magazine’s publisher Lauren Holleyoake.

Now in its tenth year, Grazia currently sells approximately 154,000 copies a week, with a digital circulation of a little under 4,200.

“I am thrilled to be joining Grazia at such an exciting time in the magazine’s history,” said Pearlman.

“What they have achieved in the last 10 years has been era-defining and I am so excited to lead the brand as it embarks on the next decade.”

Abby Carvosso, managing director of Bauer’s London Lifestyle business, added: “We are hugely excited to be continuing the evolution of Grazia over the next 10 years with Natasha at the helm.

“Her ideas and vision for the brand show a deep understanding of our upscale audience and the complexity of bringing together the speed and glossiness which Grazia is famous for. With her breadth of experience, passion and commitment she is perfectly placed to lead the team forwards.”

Deputy editor Marianne Jones will take up the role of acting editor in the interim until Pearlman’s start date is confirmed.
