Havas Sees Strong Growth Despite Difficult UK Market

Havas Logo Advertising giant Havas reported strong organic growth for Q4 2005 this morning, despite a dip in revenues in the UK.

The company claimed a successful end to the year, with growth for Q4 2005 hit 1.8% year on year, with 2005 as a whole seeing 2.5% growth.

Havas’ revenues for 2005 now stand at €1,461 million, with €420 million generated in the final three months of the year.

Strong world-wide growth was reported by Havas during the final quarter, with continental Europe and Latin America proving particularly solid.

However, the company reported a 4.9% dip in growth in the UK, blaming a combination of factors, including the loss of several accounts, the result of which was felt in the final quarter.

The advertising firm remains optimistic, however, claiming that its full year results, due for release next month will show its income from operations margin around 10%, while net profit is expected to improve, due to a reduction in financial and tax expenses.
