IPC Grows Nuts With 3G Services And Online Revamp

Nuts Website IPC’s Nuts magazine has announced a massive re-launch of its online operations, boosting content and offering increased multimedia features.

The new site will pack exclusive pictures and video clips of Nuts cover girls, as well as games and an enhanced reviews section.

The site’s new design presents Nuts content in a “sophisticated and entertaining way,” according to IPC, which claims users will find it quick and easy to navigate to their favourite site sections.

As part of the redesign messageboards have been included in the website for the first time, allowing readers to hold discusions, as well as enter exclusive online competitions.

Kevin Heery, director of digital development for IPC ignite!, explained the reasons for the revamp, stating: “The site gives Nuts a new opportunity to show off the sheer quantity and quality of content it produces. The designers have pulled off a major feat, making it easy to browse through the large archive, while still showcasing a constant stream of new pictures, video, games, reviews and more.”

Eric Fuller, Nuts‘ publishing director, added: “This major upgrade makes Nuts online a whole new experience – it really is the website the magazine deserves, and our readers will love it.”

Elsewhere Nuts has extended its new media offering to include its first 3G mobile service, allowing men across the UK to access its successful Assess My Breasts franchise.

The new service coincides with the re-launch of www.nuts.co.uk and allows women or their men to submit pictures of their breasts to be voted for by website visitors. Each week the magazine reveals the most popular girl in full.

Fuller described the service as “breaking new ground” and giving the UK’s men exactly what they want. “This new 3G service is breaking new ground for Nuts and providing an entertaining new way to interact with the brand. Alongside the comprehensive re-launch of Nuts.co.uk, this is another innovation setting the pace in men’s publishing.”
