Jazz FM Makes Acquisition Approach To London News Radio
Jazz FM is launching a bid to acquire London News Radio (LNR), which owns the London-based stations LBC and News Direct, the group confirmed this afternoon following press speculation.
In the statement Jazz FM confirmed that it has “an interest in acquiring LNR and has made an indicative initial offer.” The bid is believed to value the stations at around £20 million.
