Jon Block leaves ITV for Videology

Videology has appointed ITV’s Jon Block as EMEA vice president of product and platform.

Block, who has spent the last seven years as ITV’s controller of commercial digital products, will be responsible for leading “product evangelism” in Europe, with a focus on helping broadcasters and media agencies in particular.

Based in the company’s European head office in London, Block will report to senior vice president of strategic partnerships in EMEA, John Tigg.

“This is a timely appointment for Videology as the industry sees the realms of broadcasting and online converging with advertisers increasingly looking for unified advertising solutions,” said Tigg.

“A core responsibility of Jon’s new role is to be our product evangelist in Europe to help support broadcasters and advertisers to work together in a fast changing environment. With his extensive product and commercial experience in developing solutions at ITV, Jon is the ideal candidate to champion our programmatic approach to the broadcast industry across Europe.”
