Launch Of Guardian 2

The Guardian’s second broadsheet section was relaunched today as a tabloid, with features being given pride of place, having been extracted from the main paper.

Further changes are to be carried out on the paper’s business pages, with plans for a new masthead and reorganisation of the general layout.

Staff have been moved around to deal with the changes and deputy editor Jonathan Fenby along with Guardian 2 editor Alan Rusbridger plan to ensure that both sections of the paper are given joint priority so that neither is left in limbo.
