This week Leeds is to become the latest city to have a free newspaper when Johnston Press launches City Lite.
The first edition will be published on January 12 and will be available each Friday afternoon, with features and entertainment content taken from its sister title, the Yorshire Evening Post.
The paper is aimed at affluent readers in their 20s and 30s who spend their money on entertainment, travel, sports and fitness.
Johnston says that the Yorkshire Evening Post‘s sales will not be hit as the new free paper is aimed at a different audience.
