LG has launched what it claims is the world’s first 3D smartphone at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.
The LG Optimus 3D features a dual 5MP lens camera, which allows users to capture 3D images and record 3D video on the go, according to Rapid TV News.
3D content from the phone can be distributed on 3D TVs and monitors as well as uploaded and streamed via YouTube’s 3D channel.
The Optimus 3D, which operates with Android 2.2, will hit the shops in the second quarter.
