Liberty Media To Acquire Further German Cable Operators

According to the reports in the German press, US group Liberty Media is looking to boost its interests in the German cable market (see Insight Analysis: Deutsche Telekom Sells Cable Franchises To Liberty Media) by acquiring a stake in Tele-Columbus, the cable TV service owned by Deutsche Bank.

The FT also suggests that Liberty is seeking to buy Deutsche Telekom’s network in Hessen.
