The October-December’90 JICRAR data includes figures for many of the London incrementals for the first time. Jazz FM disappoints at 5% reach, as previous research had indicated 9%. Kiss FM scores a respectable 9% and easy-listening Melody leads the pack at 11% weekly reach. For the BBC, Radio 5 makes little impact and GLR shows some improvement. LBC shows no overall gain,but Capital FM overtakes Radio 2 to show the highest share of London radio listening – both stations have shown some losses, but Radio 2’s share has declined more notably.
