Lord’s Taverners charity cricket day returns in September

Lord’s Taverners, the charity that seeks to empower young people facing inequality through cricket, is bringing back the Media Cricket Sixes Day.
Following an event in the sixes format last year, this year’s fundraiser once again aims to bring together the media industry for a day of cricket and networking, with the charity sharing more about its free and inclusive cricket initiatives nationwide.
The event will take place on Thursday 4 September, from 10:30am to 8:30pm, at Teddington Cricket Club. The day will culminate in a trophy presentation for the winning team, followed by drinks.
It costs £2,500 to enter a team of eight plus 12 spectators. The price includes entry, welcome drinks, breakfast, a buffet lunch and drinks throughout the day.
