LoveFilm unveils new connected TV app

LoveFilm is set to expand its film rental service across internet-enabled televisions and set-top boxes.

In partnership with browser technology company Oregan, LoveFilm will launch its WatchNow app, which will work across multiple platforms, in a bid to ‘enhance the user experience, interactivity and personalisation of its streaming service’, according to Brand Republic.

The WatchNow app will be available as a pre-installed app on new TV sets.
