Mediatel Connected launches new TV Programme Reports

Partner Content

Mediatel Connected has launched two new interactive reports that allow media professionals to interrogate TV viewing in more depth than ever before, with an expanded programme list, more audiences, and more detailed programme genres.

Top Programmes and Programme Audience Comparison will be available for Mediatel Connected users from today and provide more information on most-watched programmes and BARB demographic audiences along with options to rank and filter viewing data.

Mediatel Connected users will be able to filter their searches by date and daypart, demographic buying audience, programme genre, TV channel and TV programme to find the most-watched shows for each selection.

They will also be able to see select sponsorship information (where available), date and start and end time of broadcast, index and a breakdown of viewing for each programme.

These viewing figures are those through TV sets and are separated into live only, viewing on same day as live (VOSDAL) and post-broadcast viewing within seven days (timeshift only) alongside consolidated viewing.

For example, in the above table (click to enlarge), BBC’s Call the Midwife (pictured, main image) was the top TV programme on Sunday 20 February with 4,537,700 live-only viewers, 1,340,100 VOSDAL viewers and 1,864, 700 post-broadcast viewers.

Other new features of the reports include:

  • Display programmes for commercial TV only
  • Display the top-rated episode of a programme
  • Rank programmes by audience index
  • Interactive infographics

Mediatel Connected provides independent media research, analysis and planning apps providing information in one simple to use platform. As the UK’s largest single-source of media data, it’s the first stop for agencies, media owners, brands and academic institutions.
