Meridian – So Far So Good

Backers of Meridian Television, the MAI Group, have revealed that the new licence holder is surpassing original advertising revenue forecasts, as well as having saved £20m on launch costs following deals with TVS Entertainment. MAI has recorded an interim profit of £34m but emphasises that it is too early to predict what difference Meridian’s performance will make to the next six monthly result.
