MTV To Relaunch News Service

MTV Networks UK is to relaunch its MTV News service with a new look website as part of its strategy to better engage with its youth audience.

The relaunch, which will see an increase in multi-platform content, will include updated graphics and a brand new MTV News logo.

The new look website will give users access to videos, blogs and podcasts, as well as updates on the latest entertainment stories.

Rickie Haywood-Williams will continue to host the hourly MTV Daily bulletins as well as a new 30 minute weekend show called The Cube.

Laura Whitmore will also be joining as a new presenter on The Cube having beaten thousands of applicants in an MTV UK/ MySpace search for the new face of MTV News.

MTV News will launch the new look on 9 June.
