NME Radio launches on DAB in London

NME Radio Logo NME Radio is launching on DAB in London from today, adding to its existing broadcast platforms – Sky, Virgin Media, Freesat and online.

NME Radio is also available to listen to on 87.7FM in Manchester throughout May.

Sammy Jacob, NME Radio managing and programming director, said: “Since launch we’ve been dedicated to making NME Radio available on as many platforms as possible making the station more accessible and relevant in an increasingly fragmented market.

“From today fans of cutting-edge music can listen to the station on DAB in London and we hope to announce additional platforms in future.”

Last week’s RAJAR results show the NME Radio had a weekly reach of 194,000 listeners in the first quarter of 2009, up by around 27.5% year on year from the previous quarter.
