O2 Launches Retail Magazine With Future Plus

Blue Future Plus and O2 have launched a premium retail magazine to support sales and drive customer experience.

The magazine, called blue, has been developed in conjunction with Future Plus, a specialist publishing agency which is a division of Future, the UK’s leading consumer electronics publishing house.

The 70-page monthly magazine has a print run of 500,000 and is available nationwide in O2 stores and at The O2, via the concept store.

The launch issue includes 59-pages of editorial content, with aspirational photography, special editorial features promoting key customer benefits, competitions, travel features as well as tips on using camera phones, essential tariff plans and handset details.

The bespoke content has been created by a dedicated team at Future Plus and draws on the experience and reputation of the customer publisher.

Paula Cave, head of O2 Retail said: “blue magazine will be a valuable sales tool for our sales advisers to engage with customers and educate them about the products and services available.”

Mike Goldsmith, editorial director, Future Plus said: “blue magazine uses a blend of lively, expert editorial and cutting-edge photography that gives O2 customers a fantastic looking, feature-packed monthly magazine that showcases the very latest phones and the audio-visual content available for them.

“The magazine uses the expertise of Future’s leading newsstand titles such as T3 and Digital Camera to enable O2 customers to fully exploit the increased multimedia functionality of today’s leading handsets.”
