Omnicom Growth Driven By Strong Business Wins

US-based advertising network, Omnicom, yesterday delivered a comfortable set of financial results despite the broader economic and advertising difficulties that are affecting many of its peers.

Organic growth at the group rose by 12% and net new billings topped $1 billion. New account wins during the year included Goodyear, Aventis and Dell and, totalling $1.05 billion, marked the sixth consecutive quarter where new business has exceeded $1 billion in value.

The management of Omnicom remains comfortable that it will hit its financial targets for this year and the next.
