Early adopters from the media industry’s freelance and small business community will see a new online tool launched this week to help them build their personal brands.
enthuse.me allows users to create profiles to showcase work and expertise through a digital portfolio. It has been developed to support self-employed individuals and small business owners in building personal brands and expanding networks in the most efficient and effective ways.
The site will allow users to embed work from anywhere on the web, as well as enabling them to upload original content, including social media stats, videos and blogs.
Dan Jacobs, CEO and founder of enthuse.me, said: “The media industry leads the way in terms of the new world of flexible working with a huge amount of freelancers, contractors, consultants and entrepreneurial small businesses.
“enthuse.me is designed for exactly these people and we expect them to become our early adopters using the site to build personal brands that showcase what they’re really good at by giving 5-10 great examples of your work and augmenting this content with other features on the site.
“While LinkedIn is about your career history, and Facebook is about your friends and personal life, enthuse.me is for focusing on what you do best right now, and promoting your expertise.”
