Online TV Channel Unveils New Advertising Deal

YourKindaTV Logo TBG London, the digital marketing agency, has signed a deal with YourKindaTV, the online TV channel, to offer advertising before and after YourKindaTV’s broadcasts.

This is the first advertising deal YourKindaTV has signed and is also the first time TBG has invested in ads of this kind.

TGB will use the space to run ads for its clients Ocean Finance and Tempur. The agreement is for three months with the potential to be extended, dependent on the campaign’s results.

YourKindaTV was launched last week and is aimed primarily at students and office workers (see New Web TV Company To Launch).

Simon Mansell, TBG’s managing director, said: “TV is undoubtedly going online more and more so we wanted to be the first to exploit the new opportunities of internet TV and ensure our clients were at the cutting edge of technological developments.

“We will be monitoring the results of this campaign very closely before making further decisions regarding this platform.”

Jason Westhorpe, chief executive officer of YourKindaTV, commented: “We are already building a large audience for our online TV content, which is also of appeal to advertisers who are looking for new ways to exploit the growth of the internet as a delivery mechanism.

“This deal with TBG is a real milestone for us and we hope will be one of many such deals in future.”
