Paramount to handle sponsorship on 5 as it offers brand partnerships exclusively

Paramount International Advertising Sales has announced it will exclusively offer all creative brand partnership opportunities, including sponsorship, across its entire linear and streaming portfolio in the UK.

The move covers free-to-air public-service broadcaster 5, Paramount+ (now with an ad tier), leading free ad-supported TV service Pluto TV and channel brands including MTV, Nickelodeon and Comedy Central (including on social and streaming, as well as real-world live experiences).

Sponsorship on 5 was previously handled by Sky Media, but a spokesperson confirmed: “Sky Media continues to be our valued ad sales partner in the UK. Our creative brand partnerships offer complements the reach and scale Sky delivers across our portfolio.

“This is about providing our clients and partners with the most effective solutions to maximise our vast portfolio in the UK and beyond.”

Paramount Brand Studios, the in-house creative team at Paramount Ad Sales, will now work with clients and agencies across Paramount’s entire offer. This is the same arrangement that applies in almost every market where Paramount has a sales partner.

“Paramount Brand Studios is uniquely placed to tap into Paramount IP, unlocking creative solutions and delivering fully integrated, creative marketing partnerships that put brands at the heart of the conversation,” a Paramount statement says.

Paramount International Ad Sales claims that, in partnership with Sky Media, it can offer brands more than any other broadcast or streaming partner in the UK.
