Image sharing platform Pinterest has appointed Milka Privodanova as its new head of EMEA Sales.
In her new role, Privodanova will be responsible for building and scaling Pinterest’s advertising business across the region, reporting to chief revenue officer Bill Watkins. Her work will include leading the regional team and supporting relationships with advertisers to enable them to reach an “engaged and commercially-minded audience” on the platform.
Over the last three years, Privodanova has served as the country manager for the UK, Ireland, Netherlands and Nordics, working with brands such as John Lewis, Sainsbury’s, eBay and BMW. Before joining Pinterest, she spent 11 years at Microsoft, leading teams responsible for driving revenue and managing client relationships across 12 markets in Western Europe.
In 2022, she was awarded Media Leader of the Year (Media Owner) by The Media Leader.
An extended leadership team working with Privodanova will manage the responsibilities of the country manager for the UK and Ireland as Pinterest seeks to backfill the role, leadership of the Netherlands and Nordics will now fall under the scope of the head of EMEA sales growth role, who will also manage Spain and Italy.
Privodanova will start her new role effective immediately.
