POSTAR Develops Planning Tool
POSTAR, the research body for the advertising industry, has developed a planning tool for use by advertising agencies. It will be available through Telmar, which will also provide training and back-up to agency users.
The planner includes the pre-campaign planning and contractor summary sections of the full POSTAR system, designed to help agency planners compare the audience delivered by outdoor with audiences delivered by other broadcast media. It will also enable users to compare prices on a cost-per-thousand basis.
Dick Dodson, managing director of Telmar, comments: “We’re delighted that in conjunction with POSTAR we are now able to offer agencies a planning system for Outdoor. This is the missing piece of the media planning jigsaw puzzle and, as such, means that media planners and buyers now have the ability to plan using up-to-date systems across all media.”
POSTAR will supply agencies with its own data which is updated every month.
