In the latest set of newspaper circulation figures, released by the Audit Bureau of Circulations (ABC) this week, weekly regional titles showed a fairly steady performance. The top two titles in terms of sales, Cornwall’s West Briton Series and the Essex Chronicle Series continue to jockey for position at the top of the table.
For the January-June 2000 period, the Essex Chronicle Series has crept ahead, adding 0.2% to its year-on-year readership figure with a circulation of 50,135. The West Briton Series put on 0.3%, reaching 49,856 readers.
