Roisin Donnelly joins IAB UK as non-executive adviser

The Internet Advertising Bureau (IAB) UK has appointed Roisin Donnelly as a non-executive adviser of its new Advertiser Steering Group, which has been set up to help ensure that IAB members get the most from digital advertising.

“Roisin is supremely qualified in this space to help us promote and simplify digital for advertisers,” said newly-appointed CEO Jon Mew.

“Not only has she managed some of the biggest budgets in marketing, she brings a wealth of experience in delivering world-class campaigns. She truly understands how to get the most from digital media.”

Donnelly, who will chair the new group, is currently a non-executive director of Just Eat and Bourne Leisure, a council member of the Advertising Standards Authority and a patron of the Market Research Society.

She also spent more than two decades at Procter & Gamble, most recently as brand director for Northern Europe.

“I am delighted to be joining the IAB team and will help put the consumer and the advertiser at the centre of the IAB agenda,” Donnelly said.

“This is an exciting time for the IAB as digital advertising has reached record levels but we face some important challenges. I will support Jon and the IAB members to drive the future of the digital industry in the UK.”
