RAJAR CEO Sally de la Bedoyere has resigned from her role at the radio audience measurement company.

De la Bedoyere, who joined RAJAR in January 2004, steps down at the end of June 2010. RAJAR said that it has already begun the search for her replacement.

She said: “I have spent six enjoyable years at RAJAR and am proud to say that I have accomplished most of the things I set out to do, from introducing a new contract in 2007 to launching the MIDAS Surveys (Measurement of Internet Delivered Audio Services) in 2007 as well as undertaking thorough and exhaustive tests into electronic measurement systems and devices.

“In addition, I leave behind a strong, hard-working and dedicated team who are well on the way to introducing a new, online methodology, which is set to meet the growing opportunity of digital radio.”

David Mansfield, RAJAR chairman, said: “Sally has achieved a tremendous amount for RAJAR over the past six years, often in very challenging circumstances.

“She oversaw the smooth introduction of the new RAJAR contract in 2007, the continuing development of a new online methodology and has worked hard representing RAJAR at home and abroad on issues relating to radio audience research.

“On behalf of the RAJAR Board I would like to thank her for her commitment to RAJAR and the radio industry and wish her every success for the future.”
