Samsung partners with PayPal for new Smart TV app

Samsung has added a new app called Karaoke Superstar to its Smart TV App Store that supports payments through PayPal.

The app allows customers to access over 2,000 karaoke videos straight from their Samsung Smart TV’s.

PayPal’s ability to work with Smart TV allows customers to buy goods and services through their television, opening up financial potenital for companies using shopping apps.

Karaoke Superstar joins companies such as LOVEFiLM, BBC iPlayer, YouTube, Facebook and Twitter to Samsung’s Smart TV hub.
