Most Americans aged 65 and over do not use the internet and have no interest in learning about it, according to a report issued by The Pew Internet & American Life Project.
The survey, conducted in February 2004, revealed that only 22% of Americans aged over 65 have access to the internet, although this has increased from 15% in 2000. It also found that of those senior who are online, 94% use the web to keep in touch with their friends and family via email.
