Simmons Joins GCap Media

GCap Media has announced the appointment of Pete Simmons as group programme director, content/digital.

Simmons, who was previously group head of programmes at Chrysalis Radio, will have a dual role at GCap Media. He will be responsible for ensuring that the broad range of content produced from all the parts of GCap’s business – such as exclusive interviews, live concerts and online material – is shared effectively across the Group and across all platforms.

He will also head up the digital radio team, with responsibility for the development and programming of GCap’s digital radio brands. GCap says that the appointment strengthens the group’s commitment to enhancing its offering across on-line and digital platforms.

Simmons will report into Dirk Anthony, group director of programmes, and will join at a date to be agreed.
