Snap has created a senior head of retail and ecommerce role and hired ASOS’s former exec Amber Sayer to fill the position.
Sayer starts in her new role today. She will be based in London as part of the Enterprise Leadership team reporting to Ed Couchman, UK general manager.
Her main responsibilities will be leading the retail and ecommerce divisions and supporting account teams from more than 40 retail and ecommerce brands in their “digital transformation journey”.
Sayer previously worked at ASOS for six years and was responsible for ASOS Media Group, which creates marketing campaigns for its supplier brands.
Her other roles prior to this included consultant at Aurelia Skincare, head of advertising at Jamie Oliver Group for over four years, commercial manager and then head of online advertising at UKTV for more than five years, and marketing manager at AutoTrader.
