Channel Five Holdings Ltd, a company owned by Thames Television in partnership with Five TV , has today delivered the only application for Britain’s fifth terrestrial television channel.
Whether or not an award is made will depend upon the ITC’s consideration of the application and whether they are satisified that C5 Holdings have adequate financial backing. An announcement of the outcome will be made no later than November. Channel 5 Holdings Ltd Press Enquiries: (071 911 0033)
